The problem

A list for anyone is a list for no one.

Walk into a business broker's office with $150,000 and ask what you can buy. You'll walk out with a list. It might even be a good list. But it's a list for anyone with $150,000. It isn't a list for you. And once you pick from it, you're on your own.

What a broker hands you

  • Residential cleaning company, 60 clients$145,000
  • Coffee kiosk in a medical office building$120,000
  • Lawn care route with equipment$135,000
  • Micro-SaaS invoicing app, 140 subscribers$130,000
  • Mobile pet-grooming franchise resale$150,000

Sorted by budget. Blind to everything else.

What Pyreta builds with you

  1. Who you are: skills, capital, hours, location, and risk tolerance
  2. Start, buy, or franchise, compared side by side for you
  3. A plan that pencils out, down to the cash you need to survive the ramp
  4. The first step worth taking this week, with agents doing the legwork
  5. Real business experts to check your plan, whenever you want them

Shaped by your life, with experts a click away if you want them.

Medicine learned to treat this patient, not “a patient with this condition.” Entrepreneurship never caught up. Ambitious people still get the same generic advice, the same slogans, the same lists. And most AI co-founders start from an idea you already have. Pyreta starts before that.

Start with you

Same ambition. Three completely different first steps.

The itch to build something feels the same at 24, 36, and 52. The right first step doesn't. The detail that changes everything is rarely on a balance sheet, and advice that ignores who you are isn't advice. It's a brochure.

24years old

Built an audience of 80,000 online. Has an appetite for risk that scares their parents.

  • $15k saved
  • Full time on it
  • High risk tolerance

What Pyreta noticed

Their DMs are full of people asking where to buy the gear they use. Nobody has ever asked for merch.

Pyreta's path · Start

Launch a product line around the gear, not the personality.

First step: Pre-sell 50 units to your followers before you spend a dollar on inventory.

36years old

Senior engineer. Has sketched the same SaaS idea on nights and weekends for three years.

  • $60k saved
  • 10 hours a week
  • Keeps salary for now

What Pyreta noticed

Has solved the same problem at three different employers. Two former managers said they would pay for it.

Pyreta's path · Start

Validate the SaaS tool, then go full time on proof.

First step: Call those two managers first. Ten conversations in two weeks. Quit nothing yet.

52years old

Decades of industry know-how. A retirement account that can't be gambled.

  • $500k liquid
  • Low risk tolerance
  • Wants to own, not operate

What Pyreta noticed

Knows half the retiring owners in their regional market by first name, and three key suppliers would follow them anywhere.

Pyreta's path · Buy

Buy a profitable business in the industry you already know.

First step: Shortlist three firms whose owners are retiring, then check the numbers before any handshake.

Available at launch

01

Decide

Judgment before execution.

  • Founder profile

Be seen as a whole person, not a budget.

A short conversation about your capital, hours, timeline, location, skills, risk tolerance, and current commitments. Every answer stays editable.

  • Path comparison

Know whether to start, buy, or franchise.

Before any ideas, Pyreta compares starting, buying, and franchising for you: capital needed, time to first income, risk, and hours required.

  • Ideas ranked by fit

Get ideas that fit your life, not just your wallet.

Three to five ideas within your chosen path, each with a reason tied to your profile, a capital range, and time to first revenue. Or bring your own idea and have it scored the same way.

  • Sourced research

    Trust what you read.

Market size, competitors, startup or acquisition costs, licensing, and comparable businesses. Every fact carries a source link and an as-of date.

02

Plan

A plan that pencils out.

  • Gated roadmap

    Permission to walk away.

Validate, set up, finance, launch or close, first 90 days. Each phase ends in a gate that returns go, revise, or walk away, with the reasons.

  • Capital stack

Know exactly how you'll pay for it.

How the venture actually gets funded: savings, SBA loans, seller notes, equipment financing, friends and family. Includes debt service and the cash reserve to survive the ramp.

  • Running tally

    No surprise numbers.

Total investment, monthly burn, working capital, time to launch, and break-even month, live. Every number is labeled yours, sourced, or estimated, so you know what to verify.

  • Pitfall flags

See the trap before you step in it.

Warnings pinned to the step where they bite: undercapitalization, licensing delays, personal guarantees on leases, overpaying for an acquisition.

  • Refinement loop

A plan that gets sharper as you do.

Pyreta asks sharp follow-up questions and regenerates the plan as you answer, showing what changed since your last version and why.

03

Act

Agents do the legwork. You stay in charge.

  • Starter agents

Get the legwork done while you keep your day job.

A validation agent launches a landing page or survey. An outreach agent drafts emails to brokers, landlords, suppliers, and early customers. A watch agent checks listings, competitors, and permit changes every day.

  • Approval queue

    Nothing happens without your yes.

Nothing gets sent, published, or paid for without your explicit yes, and every agent action is logged.

04

Check

Humans in the loop, when you want them.

  • Expert review

A second opinion, whenever you want one.

At any gate, send a summary to a vetted business expert and get written feedback within 48 hours, or book a 30-minute call. You choose exactly what's shared.

  • Save, compare, export

Weigh your options, then bring others in.

Keep several ideas side by side, then export a roadmap or capital stack to PDF for a partner, attorney, accountant, or lender.

Privacy by design

You'll share real numbers. You should know who's holding them.

Planning a business means sharing your savings, your tax returns, and sometimes access to your accounts. That calls for privacy and legal guardrails built in from day one, not bolted on later.

  • Your financials stay yours.

Uploaded documents are encrypted, never sold, and deleted when you ask.

  • You choose what experts see.

Reviews use a summary you approve. Experts work under confidentiality terms.

  • Agents can't act without you.

Anything an agent would send, publish, or spend waits in your approval queue.

  • Share as little as you like.

You decide how much to tell Pyreta. It works with minimal data too; more detail just sharpens the advice.

On the roadmap

From planner to operator.

Launch is the start. Next, Pyreta brings in live data, takes more of the work off your plate, and stays with you after you open the doors. Founding members help decide what comes first.

Coming later

Walk into the lender with a package ready.

Live rates from banks, SBA lenders, and credit unions, your odds of pre-qualifying, and the plan and projections a lender asks for.

Coming later

Never overpay for a business or franchise.

Listings filtered to your profile, a seller's numbers checked against their tax returns and bank statements, and franchise disclosures and royalties run against real revenue.

Coming later

Know the block before you sign the lease.

Demographics, competitor density, and foot traffic for an address, plus the permits, zoning, and inspections it needs and how long they take.

Coming later

Hand off the paperwork.

Agents that prepare filings, permit applications, and letters of intent, and, within limits you set, file and pay for you.

Coming later

Never build alone.

Fixed-fee attorney and CPA reviews at the documents that matter, a shared workspace for partners, live expert chat, and co-founder matching.

Coming later

Keep the plan honest after launch.

Your roadmap becomes a dashboard of actuals against plan, benchmarked against founders on similar paths.

About us

Starting something new is life's ultimate fuel.

  • The idea that won't leave you alone
  • The first stranger who pays you
  • The day it's finally real

We're Pyreta, and we exist so that fuel never goes to waste.

You know the feeling. For people like us, those moments are what life is about, and the stretches without something to build are the ones we like least. Ambition isn't a luxury or a phase.

But too much of that energy burns out on the wrong venture, or never gets lit at all. Countless capable people sit on their ambition. Not because they lack talent or drive, but because no one ever showed them a path that fit their life. Every one of them is a business that never opened, a job never created, a problem never solved.

We think the people who build things shouldn't only be the ones with the right mentor, the right network, or the right zip code. So we're building the partner we always wanted: one that knows you, believes in you, and tells you the truth. This is step one.

What we believe

Passion is the spark.
Execution is the engine.

The internet is full of people telling you to follow your passion. Passion is real, but it burns out fast. Businesses are built by showing up every day: trying, missing, adjusting, and trying again.

Building is what makes life worth living.

For people like us, the stretches without something to build are the ones we like least. Wasting that fuel is a quiet tragedy.

Entrepreneurship is a skill, not a lottery ticket.

Nobody is born knowing how to do this. Like an instrument, you put in the reps until it clicks.

The person comes before the category.

Your first step depends on who you are, not which bucket your budget falls into.

Honesty is a form of respect.

Sometimes the most valuable words a founder can hear are “not this one.” Walk away is always a valid answer, and no one pays us to steer you toward a business, franchise, or deal.

Why we're building Pyreta

Built by a founder who learned it the only way anyone does: by doing it.

Attorneys raise their eyebrows when they learn I'm also an engineer. Engineers raise theirs when they learn I'm also an attorney. The truth is that neither label comes close to the whole of me, and I don't think a single label captures any founder. We want to do it all. Pyreta is the tool I wish I'd had to do just that.

  1. An appointment-scheduling app

    Marketing needs its own budget.

I poured my time into the code and loved every minute. Then I went looking for customers and learned that marketing needs its own budget, its own strategy, and a channel that fits the product.

  2. An AI course for high schoolers

    Validate before you build.

I set a budget, booked a room, and opened an interest list before writing a curriculum. The demand wasn't there yet. I learned that in weeks, for almost nothing.

  3. A partnership product

    Watch the market, then move.

Our first customers couldn't buy at the price we needed. Because we were watching closely, we pivoted fast and sold to software firms that genuinely needed it.

Every venture sharpened my judgment. Pyreta is my way of handing that judgment, and far more knowledge than any one person could hold, to every founder who wants it.

The founding cohort

Our first reviews will come from you.

Pyreta hasn't launched, so we won't show you glowing quotes from people who haven't used it. Honesty is the whole point. Instead, we're inviting a small founding cohort to use it first, tell us the truth, and help decide what it becomes.

01

Go first, with a guide

Founding members get access before the public launch, starting with a guided onboarding session so you see exactly how Pyreta reaches its recommendations.

02

Shape what gets built

You vote on what moves up the roadmap, from checking a seller's numbers to live lender rates, and your feedback goes straight to the founder.

03

Six months of Premium, on us

Pyreta is free for everyone. Founding members also get Premium free for their first 6 months, with no card required, so nothing renews behind your back. It's our thanks for helping get Pyreta right.

FAQ

Questions, answered honestly.

Is Pyreta for starting a business, buying one, or buying a franchise?

All three. Before suggesting any ideas, Pyreta compares starting something new (software or a local business), buying an existing business, and buying a franchise against your profile: capital needed, time to first income, risk, and hours required.

I don't have much money to invest. Is Pyreta still for me?

Yes. Your budget is one input, not the whole picture. Plenty of good paths start with a few hundred dollars and a lot of reps. Pyreta will be honest about what's realistic at your level.

How is this different from asking a general AI chatbot?

A chatbot tells you what's possible. Pyreta tells you what's right for you, and what to do on Monday. It remembers your goals, weighs starting, buying, and franchising against your life, keeps your numbers honest, and is willing to say “not this one.” Every fact carries a source and a date, so you know what to trust.

Will agents act on my behalf without asking?

No. Anything an agent would send, publish, or spend waits in your approval queue until you say yes, and every action is logged. At launch, agents don't file paperwork, sign anything, or move money.

If Pyreta is free, how do you make money?

Once you've chosen a path, you'll probably need a few practical services: forming an LLC, a business bank account, insurance, accounting software, maybe financing. If you sign up for one through a Pyreta link, the provider may pay us a referral fee, at no extra cost to you. Partner links are optional, clearly labeled, and you can always go to any provider directly. We don't run ads, and we never sell your data.

Do referral fees affect what Pyreta recommends?

No. We earn from what you do after you decide, never from what you decide. Our partners provide services you'd need whichever business you choose, and no one pays Pyreta to recommend a particular business, franchise, or deal. That's why Pyreta can tell you not to buy, not to start yet, or to go a completely different direction.

What does Premium add, and do I need it?

Most people won't need it. Premium ($29/month, cancel anytime) is polish: a lender-ready packet under your own name, a live link to bring a partner or spouse along, your full plan history, unlimited saved paths, and more agent capacity. It never changes the advice. Founding members get it free for 6 months.

Do you take a cut if my business succeeds?

Never. We take no equity and no share of your revenue.

Will Pyreta just tell me what I want to hear?

No. Honesty is a form of respect. If an idea doesn't fit, Pyreta will say “not this one,” explain why, and help you find a better one. We'd rather save you a year than flatter you for a week.

What happens to the information I share?

Pyreta is built by a CIPP/US certified privacy professional, and privacy is designed in from the start. You decide how much to share; Pyreta works with minimal data, and more detail just sharpens the advice. Uploaded financial documents are encrypted, never sold, and deleted on request. When you ask for an expert review, you choose exactly what's shared, and experts work under confidentiality terms. We'll publish our full privacy policy before launch.

Is Pyreta legal, tax, or investment advice?

No. Pyreta and its expert reviewers provide business information and feedback, not legal, tax, or investment advice. When you need that, Pyreta can export your roadmap and capital stack for your attorney, accountant, or lender.
